Cory Maylett Design
As a graphic designer, I've spent my career as an art and creative director for magazines, newspapers, and various corporate, government and higher education clients. Sometimes, when I didn't have just the right typeface available for a headline, I would draw my own letters. As time has permitted, I've expanded these headline letters into complete type families.
It takes a long time to design and build a quality typeface and the various glyphs, font weights, italics, kerning pairs and OpenType features that go into the fonts. This after-hours work typically takes around a year of my time per type family. I care a great deal about the quality and precision that goes into each glyph in each font. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need something.
